with Rebirth Brass Band, Fort Knox Five and The Jazz Mafia on March 3th, 2017

Two decades of tireless work on behalf of creative culture has made HUSHconcerts an artistic lynchpin in the Bay Area community. Founded by John Miles and Robbie Kowal in February 1997, this bootstrapped success story has been known in turns as Sunset Promotions, SunsetSF, Silent Frisco, and since April of 2015, as HUSHconcerts. Along the way they have energized North Beach Jazz, SF Funk Fest, Sea of Dreams NYE, Ghost Ship Halloween, Icebreakers Ball, THE BIG ONE, and Mojito Café, and have been integral in the development of silent disco culture in the United States. On Friday, March 3, they celebrate their legacy with a gala celebration at Bimbo’s 365 Club. Performing that night will be two acts who have played for the HUSHfamily on more than 100 occasions, legendary Grammy Award winning New Orleans funk outfit REBIRTH BRASS BAND, superstar DJ/producer FORT KNOX FIVE and local hero music collective THE JAZZ MAFIA.
