Tropicalia opened in September of 2012 and at that time the Fort Knox Five DJs started a Saturday night residency at the club called “Sao Funky Saturdays.” Sixteen months later we are happy to announce that Sao Funky Saturdays are going strong and have become the Go-To Saturday Night Dance Party on U Street!!! Fort Knox Five hold it down every Saturday night and have the occasional out of town headliner or special guest, not to mention some of the other Fort Knox Recordings DJs & Artists perform when FK5 are off on tour. The DC family has come together once again, united by the groove, one nation under FUNK!!!!!
